Mizoram – Manipur – Nagaland - 8 Nights & 9 Days

Itenarary

Day 01: Aizawl

Arrive AIZAWL by flight (the scenic capital of Mizoram, is a religious and cultural center of the Mizos. The town is blessed with exotic natural beauty and is famous for its handicrafts. It is an ideal hill station for tourists looking for solitude and clean air). On arrival transfer to Hotel. You can visit the local market and watch sunset from Durtlang. Overnight in Aizawla

Day 02: Aizawl-Reiek

Leave for Reiek and take soft trek to the peak, visit the Model Mizo Village, Khuangchera Puk (cave), Zopar plantation and have lunch in the Tourist Resort Reiek. Return back to Aizawl.

Day 03: Aizawl - Imphal

Transfer to AIzawl airport for taking a flight to Imphal. On arrival transfer & check in at Hotel Imphal or similar. Overnight Imphal.

Day 04: Imphal & Loktak

Full day sightseeing –Govindajee Temple, Loktak lake (largest fresh water lake in north east), INA Memorial (Indian tri color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army), Japanese War Memorial, World War II cemetery. Overnight Imphal.

Day 05: Imphal-Andro -Imphal

Visit Andro-The place is famed for its fireplace which is never allowed to get extinguish) 27 km towards east of Imphal is the ancient Scheduled Caste village of Andro, there is one Cultural Complex established by the Mutua Museum.The place is a favourite picnic spot for the visitors these days. Later explore the famed Ima Market- the all-women’s market and Overnight in Imphal.

Day 06: Imphal-Moreh-Imphal

Day trip to the Myanmar Border town of Moreh(3-4 hrs drive). On reaching there we will visit the nearest town of Myanmar i.e Tamu after crossing the international border. Altogether you will have different experience of entering a neighbouring country which is so different from our culture without a passport and visa. You will spend some time there visiting the Buddhist Pagoda and the local market before finally returning back to the Indian side before the Border gate closes. Return to Imphal and Overnight.

Day 07: Imphal - Kohima

Drive to KOHIMA (5 hrs). Enroute pass the Mao village which is the border of Manipur and Nagaland and then proceed to Heritage village- a model village for all the major tribes of Nagaland. On arrival check in at Hotel Kohima. After lunch visit II world war cemetery. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 08: Kohima & Khonoma

After breakfast visit the local vegetable and fish market and then proceed to an Angami Naga Village – Khonoma village, 20 km / 1 hr, famous for its valour and fiercely independent mindset. Back to Kohima for lunch. Afternoon visit the Aradura Cathedral. Dinner and overnight stay at Kohima.

Day 09: Departure

Drive back to Imphal to catch the flight for your onward journey or onward drop to Dimapur.

Booking Policy :

1.  Booking  can be modified up to 3 days before the travel date (cancellation / amendment charges apply for hotels along with any price differnce for revised date - hotels based on availability).Booking can be modified only once (any circumstance) and futher changes are treated as fresh booking.
2. Booking  can be cancelled up to 3 days before travel date (below cancellation policy applies - no partial cancellation)
3. Standard Hotel check-in time is usually between 12 PM - 2 PM & check -out time is between 10 AM to 12 PM.Early check-in is subject to availability & hotel may charge extra ( not included in the tour price). In case of late check-in,please inform the hotel about your arrival time.
4. Refund for cancelled tours usually takes around 7- 10 business days
5. Any issues encountered during the trip need to be resolved with Tour manager immediately during the trip. Issues can't be addressed after completion of the trip.
6. Vehicles provided (all vehicles are A/C only):  Hatchback -Indica V2, Swift ,Ritz, similar; Sedan Dzire,Etios, Fiesta,Xcent, Amaze, similar; SUV- Innova,Xylo, or similar
7. Cab & Driver details will be provided 10 hours before the Trip start Time
8. Cancellation Policy (All Tours) :16 Days & Beyond from date of travel (excluding travel date) - 50% of order total is charged as   cancellation fee, Between 8-15 days from date of travel (excluding travel date) - 75% of order total is charged as cancellation fee, No Refund if cancelled with in 7 days from date of travel, excluding travel date ( we already paid for your Hotel & Cab by this time)
9. In case of natural disasters, political Bundh of cab strike, travelpanorama.in may suggest alternate destination of alternate dates. If no alternate tour /  dates can be arranged by travelpanorama.in,  your tour may be cancelled and partial payment booking amount will be refunded.
10. In extreme cases,you tour may be cancelled by travel panorama.in for unavoidable reasons ( within 24 hours  of booking) and 100% of your booking amount will be refunded.
